Rectifiers for DC railway traction substations are produced according to 12-pulse and 6-pulse “bridge” rectification circuits and also “zero” rectification circuit.
Concept solutions applied in switchgears series RU-3,3ê manufactured by JSC «Pluton» are based on minimizing of human participation in switching processes, assembling and disassembling of circuit at substation.
When developing set of auxiliary cabinets we applied the same principles described in
equipment supply concept for railway traction substations. Equipment reliability, minimizing of
time for maintenance, detection and elimination of fault in case of its arising, high level of
personnel protection against possible electric trauma during routine maintenance.
Automation of traction substation is very important factor of goal achievement – to build new generation traction substation with increased equipment reliability, not requiring special attention, providing minimum participation of operational staff in operation switchings, excluding initiation of emergency situations owing to so called “human factor”.
